Meet The Team

Rev. Scott Mcginnis
Rev. McGinnis came to FPC in August, 2017 to help lead the congregation to its next phase of ministry. He is a graduate of Regent College in Vancouver, Canada and Fuller Seminary. Scott and his wife, Sonday, are parents to Jonathan, Elise and Evan.

Tricia Brothers
Tricia began her tenure at FPC in March 2019 as the Administrative Office Assistant. Her background is in marketing and higher education and she holds a MBA from Wichita State. She has two dogs and a cat at home which she adores. Her daughter Amanda (who she kinda loves too) is a Physical Therapist and lives in Houston with Tricia's grand puppy Parker Rose.

Tony Martinez
Tony is our custodian and has kept us humming since 2010. He can build or fix almost anything; and he was recently honored by the Kansas Honor Flight for his years of military service.

Marsha Swander
Marsha serves as our treasurer. In her free time she is an enthusiastic reader of mystery novels!

Mary McGehee
As of January 1, 2020, Mary is our new Children & Youth Director. She has been volunteering in the role for almost 2 years. Mary currently serves on the Nurture Team, works as a teacher's aide in Hesston and serves on the boards of PEO and Community Playschool.

Vada Snider
Vada directs our choir and bell choir. Karen Loucks accompanies the choir on piano. Vada also plays a lovely flute and is an accomplished gardener and photographer.

Kelli Glann
Kelli is one of our gifted accompanists on organ and piano. Kelli is also a teacher and an avid gardener with gorgeous results!

Helen Wild
Helen tag teams with Kelli on organ and piano. She is also a gifted artist, whose work is owned by many lucky Newton residents.

Vada Snider
