CALL TO WORSHIP AND LORD’S PRAYER
Lord God, Almighty and everlasting Father, it is You who has brought us in safety to this new day.
Preserve us with Your mighty power, that we may not fall into sin, but be obedient to Your will and ways.
Help us Lord, to not be overcome by adversity, but by Your strength and direction fulfill all of Your purpose in us.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.

PRAYER OF CONFESSION & ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
Thank You dear Father that we have all Your love and grace already because that is who You are!
Thank you that we need not, nor cannot, earn Your love or grace, but can just receive it with grateful hearts.
Empower us by Your Holy Spirit to share this with others.
In Jesus Name, Amen

SCRIPTURE~
Luke 13:6-9 The Message (MSG)
6-7 Then he told them a story: “A man had an apple tree planted in his front yard.
He came to it expecting to find apples, but there weren’t any. He said to his gardener,
‘What’s going on here? For three years now I’ve come to this tree expecting apples
and not one apple have I found.
Chop it down! Why waste good ground with it any longer?’
8-9 “The gardener said, ‘Let’s give it another year. I’ll dig around it and fertilize,
and maybe it will produce next year; if it doesn’t, then chop it down.’”
